Corporate days out are a great way to treat your employees and associates. Water based activities are becoming more and more popular and where better to base you're event than the Solent. The Solent is the expanse of water between the Isle of Wight and mainland U.K. This area is well sheltered and teaming with activity. There are thousands of boats and a great variety of places to visit. You can get to the Solent from London by train in an hour or so and road access is also very good.

A day out on the water is obviously hugely different to a day in the office and these trips have a habit of sticking in your memory. This ensures the event you put on is remembered by your clients and staff. Your options include Rib Charter, yacht charter or barge charter to take you out for the day. Rib hire is great fun and the vessel chose for your event will be down to personal preference.

Many of the charter companies can also offer activities on board and organise treasure hunts to encourage teambuilding and increase social links between the groups. It is a good idea to speak to several companies and bounce ideas of them if you have any special requests or a fixed idea of how you want the day to go. The charter companies will be happy to help you plan the day and suggest methods to help fine tune the schedule to make sure everything runs smoothly. Prices will vary a lot so shopping around is a good idea and you should get a discount for booking mid-week.

The Solent boat charter takes care of your daytime activity but it does not have to stop there. There are thousands of great restaurants along the coast to add a fantastic finish to your event.
