Halloween With Jessie Costumes

Many children are enamored with the Toy Story movies. What does that special little lady want to be this year? Many of them imagine themselves as the little cowgirl toy. This Halloween can be a special event. You might be spending time looking at Jessie Halloween costumes. Here are some things to check into.

Party themes

Your party can be centered on the Toy Story movies. It is likely to be a big hit with the kids. All of the participants can come dressed as their favorite character. The good thing about the movie is the subject. It is about toys. This means that many different costumes can pass for toys. Woody, Buzz Lightyear and Jessie are the main charactors but there are many more possibilities with all the other toys in the movie.

You might also wish to have a western theme. If your young lady is going dressed up as a cowgirl, make the party match. It is not hard to find favors in this category. Horses will fit in very well in this theme.

Western theme for cowboys and cowgirls

If the weather is permitting, you may wish to have some of the party out of doors. You can western it up with several bales of hay, strategically placed. Red bandannas are a nice touch for the guests to receive. There can be rope available, also.

You may wish to have some roping or lassoing competitions. This can get everyone into the cowgirl and cowboy mood. Let the kids decide what they wish to rope. Prizes can be given out.

It is not hard to find western theme party favors. You can mix and match with Halloween party favors. Make it a western Halloween. Mix in games like bobbing for apples.

All the kids expect candy on Halloween. Try to be creative with your approach. The kids may appreciate a pinata filled with candy. It can be in the shape of a horse or a cowboy boot. Make sure that everyone gets their chance to take a whack at the pinata. It takes a lot of the whacking fun out of having a pinata, but the pinata with the strings or ribbons is a lot safer.

Do not forget pumpkins and jack-o-lanterns. Make safety the rule. If you are going to place candles inside some, be careful. Do not have any near the hay. The kids can draw funny and creative faces on some of the pumpkins. These will be safe to set on bales of hay or straw.

You may wish to make your Jessie character, the host of the party. If she has a brother, he can be Woody. This will all fit in with the western theme. And of course, Halloween will be the shared theme.

Ask the kids what they want for the party. Find out what type of activities they are interested in. After all, it is their party. Kids know what they want and like. You will be far less likely to have a bunch of bored children, if they pick the activities.

Do not forget to have plenty of supervisors. They can wear cowboy hats and bandannas. This will give you some needed assistance and support.
