Three Good Reasons to Pay a Little Extra For Carhartt Clothing

Carhartt Clothing is one of the best names in workers' clothes. It's a company that many men and a growing number of women are loyal to because they've experienced firsthand how great those clothes are. The problem is not everyone is sold on Carhartt Clothing for one simple reason: it costs a little bit more. The question is why should you pay more and how much more should you pay for Carhartt Clothing.

The Price Difference

Before we get too far along, we should discuss the price difference of Carhartt Clothing and other items on the market. If you haven't done the comparison shopping yourself, it's time now to reveal the facts so you have everything you need to make an informed decision.

To be fair, we have to compare Carhartt Clothing prices with stores on both the low-end and the high-end of the pricing spectrum since we don't know where you love to shop. For this comparison, we've also decided to focus on a single product: a pair of dark stone washed denim jeans available through WorkWear1 for about $35. If you were to buy a similar pair of jeans at Wal-Mart, you would pay somewhere between $9 and $20 per pair. On the other hand, if you shop at Macy's, you would be charged $40 to $58 per pair.

Clearly, if you shop at high end stores, Carhartt Clothing is going to save you money. However, there are some good reasons not to cut costs by going with the cheaper brands carried by other low-end retailers.

Quality

Most of the inexpensive clothing you'll find at the other end of the spectrum is made cheaply so it can be sold cheaply. That means it might last a long time if you're talking about casual wear and tear but if you're wearing those pants to work in an intense environment they aren't going to last more than one or two months. Then you'll have to purchase a new pair. Carhartt Clothing costs more because it was intended to be made according to the highest quality standards possible. That means the pair of jeans you buy today for $35 will still be in good shape in two months, six months, and for a good long time after.

Products

Another reason to pay a little more for Carhartt Clothing is that the company manufactures many of their garments to meet the specific demands of the workplace. They are designed to last longer, to provide greater visibility, to help you stay warm or cool in the harshest of temperatures, and more. You're not going to find these types of products at low-end retailers, except possibly in very limited selection, and you won't even find them at high-end stores that already charge more without delivering any better quality.

Pay More for What You Want

If you need work attire then Carhartt Clothing is your best choice. It might cost a little more but you get what you pay for, at least in this case.
