Before God will release tons of money into our hands, we must first prove to Him that money is not our friend but our servant. A master cannot be friends his with servants. Servants are to serve the master. Jesus told His disciples that He did not call them servants but friends. The servant does not know what his master does, he just obeys him.

John 15:15 Henceforth I call you not servants; for the servant knoweth not what his lord doeth: but I have called you friends; for all things that I have heard of my Father I have made known unto you.

Note 1Timothy 6:10, For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.

This scripture is referring to money as a friend and not a servant. We are not to make friends with money. We must treat money strictly as a servant or many sorrows will come into our lives. After all, it was money that was used to betray our Lord Jesus Christ, thirty pieces of silver.

We must keep money under our feet at all times. The servant is not above its master.(Mathew10:24) Money should be treated as an enemy if it is not a servant. It should be treated as a serpent if it is not our servant. It will bite if it is handle improperly.

The above scripture says not to covet after money. But when money becomes a servant we have right to it to be used according to God's will. We can tell money to go and come as we will. We can tell money to pay this bill, buy this food, buy this suit, bless that poor man, go and fall at the man of God's feet and above all be the tithe of all increase.

Money should mean nothing to us. A hundred dollar bill should be like a penny lying in the street. We can step over it and not look back. That is exactly what Abraham did when the King of Sodom tried to give him the spoil the that he returned to him. Abraham told the king that he did not even want one of his shoelaces and did not accept the gift. (Genesis 14:23) Why? Because God was his only provider.

When God becomes our only provider money will have no choice but to bow its knee and become our servant.

We see in Luke 19:12-27 the parable of the nobleman that went to receive for himself a kingdom and returned, that money and how it is handled has everything to do with promotion from God. Verse 26 is the key to the parable.

For I say unto you, That unto every one which hath shall be given; and from him that hath not, even that he hath shall be taken away from him.

How we use money as a servant will determine if we are promoted or demoted in the kingdom of God. The servants were told by their master to Occupy until I come back. The word occupy means, "to trade as a banker". The sum of the parable is this. All servants were given the same amount of money. They were rewarded according to how much gain they made with their masters money. The ones that did nothing lost every thing and it was given to the one that did the most. They ones that gained were rewarded in direct proportion to their gain.

The words says that the wealth of the sinner is laid up for the just.

Pr 13:22 A good man leaveth an inheritance to his children's children: and the wealth of the sinner is laid up for the just.

The wicked servant in this parable laid up his money in a napkin because he was afraid. It was taken from him and given to the just servant.

If we use the money that God has provided us well in kingdom work, He will cause abundant riches to come on us. If money is our servant God will see to it that we have plenty of it to get his work done in the earth and provide for us an inheritance for our children's children, even if it comes from the wicked. God is going to put His money into the hands of those that are bringing Him the most gain.
