Office is a place where you have an ambiance of work and business. Professionalism looms heavily in the environment around and in the air we breath. Amidst all the files, laptops and paperwork, it is the professional attitude towards work that gives the ambiance the much needed work culture. And since the attitude in office has to be professional, so should the looks be. In order to be taken seriously and to create the work culture, you have to behave as well as look and act professionally.

Along with the right formal wear, you also have to take care of the make up and the hairdo. Hair should look neat and well maintained. You can tie them up in a pony tail or in a neat bun, or even if you wish to keep them open, make sure they do not look shabby in any way. Make up should be minimal. As light and natural as possible. Heavy make up is for the evening parties and social events.

Now comes the jewellery part. You can wear jewellery and it would be advisable to wear them to make you look good and at times professional. But don't go over boards. Restrict them to neck pieces and small ear pieces. Plus a bracelet would also do great. You can wear faceted jewellery to office, that gives a very formal yet ravishing look. Faceted jewellery can be jewellery with faceted stones, gem stones, precious stones etc.

You can also try pearls at office. Pearls make a wonderful jewellery for the professional environment. They create an aura around you that establishes your presence and makes everyone take notice of you and take your statements seriously. But pearls are better for special occasions such as important conference or a client meeting. For every day use, you can choose faceted jewellery. You can try different faceted jewellery for different days and make yourself look good and new - everyday!
