Auto enthusiasts all over the United Kingdom will have a chance to get their first hand on the new Lexus LS 600h full size luxury hybrid sedan early in October. The new Lexus LS 600h comes in three model trim levels: LS 600h base model, LS 600h L, and LS 600h L with Rear Seat Relaxation Package. Along with the announcement of the car's availability in the UK, Toyota Motor Corporation also released the details and the manufacturer's suggested retail price (MSRP) for the luxury vehicle.

According to a Toyota press release, the Lexus LS 600h is "equipped with a more advanced powertrain and more sophisticated array of preventive, active and passive features than any car in its class, the LS 600h will set new standards in luxury motoring. A superb specification will ensure owners enjoy supreme comfort, convenience and on-board entertainment"

All Lexus LS 600h models are equipped with a new monstrous 5.0-liter engine under its hood. In addition, the LS 600h also features the "world's first full-time all-wheel drive full hybrid V8 powertrain" system. As expected for a hybrid model, the Lexus LS 600h has a high output motor called the Lexus Hybrid drive that helps the engine to produce more power and provide reserved energy. This powertrain package allows the LS 600h to offer low fuel consumptions and low exhaust emissions comparable to those diesel engine equipped models of the same segment.

Standard features of the new Lexus LS 600h include pre-crash safety systems that can detect collision risks, permanent four-wheel drive, Adaptive Variable Suspension, LED technology for low beam headlight illumination, fine leather upholstery, hand-trimmed dashboard and real wood cabin trim features. The car also comes with advanced in-car amenities like the 19-speaker Mark Levinson premium hi-fi with six-disc DVD autochanger and a nine-inch ceiling-mounted screen. The LS 600h L Rear Seat Relaxation Package adds more exclusive components for the passengers comfort. These include seat cushion airbag and variable massage function, independent DVD system, centre console with extending wood-inlaid tray, and an advanced climate control system.

MSRP for Lexus LS 600h models include: LS 600h - �81,400 (about $164,989 USD); LS 600h L - �83,645 (about $169,540 USD); and �88,000 ($178,367 USD) for the LS 600h L with Rear Seat Relaxation Package.

Meanwhile, Lexus has also released a new model in the Land Down Under. To celebrate the 5,000th Lexus IS 250 model produced in Australia, Lexus will roll out 260 limited units of the special edition Lexus IS 250X.

We are very excited about some of the upcoming developments for the IS Line, including the V8-powered IS-F and potentially, an IS coupe in the future."

The special edition Lexus IS 250X comes with exclusive and luxurious Lexus auto parts including unique five spoke 18 inch alloy wheels, 14-speaker Mark Levinson Stereo system, moonroof, satellite navigation, smooth and luxurious leather seats, sports pedals, metallic scuff plates, and the X badge. MSRP for this model is $64,390 AUD.
