Sets a New Speed Record With the Nissan Gt-r
When the test driver behind the wheels in a Nissan Super sports car GT-R puts in a record round the Nurnburg Ring, it looks almost easy.

Never has the car driven faster on this difficult track.
The north ring on the german racing track Nurnburg ring is looked upon as one of the most difficult racing tracks of them all.
The car which was launched on the Tokyo car show last year, drove one round on the racing track at 7,29,03 minutes. Behind the wheels is the test driver Toshio Suzuki.
According to Nissan it was a car in its original shape with Japanese specifications, which has a V-6 engine of 3.8 liters with 480 horsepower's and an acceleration from 0 to 100 kilometers pr hour of 3.5 seconds. The tops speed on this car is 314 km/hrs.
Only one month after the car was brought for sale in Europe, all the 1500 offered 2008 model cars were sold out.

Nissan is bulding a more angry version of the supoer sports car GT-R, and there is also a new super Lexus observed testing on one of the most difficult racing tracks in the world, Nurnburg Ring. At the moment the Lexus LF-A is not a car in production, mut it's a car rigged for lots of the racing enthusiasts around the world.

Lexus LF-A, as it can be seen on the spy pictures, is equiped with massive aero dynamic equipment as a front spoiler that almost licks the ground, small side mirrors, a solid spoiler that will ensure enough down force and a lid just behind the door for filling gas..
But Lexus has a bit to go if they want to challenge the car Nissan has under its development at the moment.
Nissan is developing a more aggresive version of its GT-R. The goal is that it shall make a round at Nurnburg ring at under 7 minutes and 25 seconds. That is 18 seconds faster than the standard GT-R. It is claimed that the Lexus LF-A has made the round in 7 minutes and ,24 seconds.
The turbo engine in the GT-R V-spec will have at least 550 horse powers, which is more than 70 horsepowers more than the standard GT-R at 480 horsepower.
In addition the car will be 150 kilos lighter than the standard GT-R, as Nissan will exchange some metal component and replace them with parts consisting of carbon fiber.
The test car that was observed has got a new front spoiler with extra air intakes, which is placed there to cool down the breaks more efficiently.
Both the Lexus LF-A and Nissan GT-R V Spec will be serious contenders to the European sports cars Porsche and Ferrari, but will most probably being priced less .
