There's no better time to buy a whole new wardrobe than when the high street slashes its prices each summer.
For instance, if you're going on holiday, you'll probably want to buy some new summer clothes and accessories for you and your family before your trip. But plan your holiday a little later in the summer months, and you'll be able to pick up everything you need in the summer sales for less. After all, there's nothing worse than seeing a dress you bought two months ago for £20 being sold to someone else for £5.
And if you're a true bargain hunter, you'll also be interested in figuring out which buys will provide you with the most value and the most wear. Summer dresses are always an excellent buy during the sales - after all, the dreary British weather means you're unlikely to wear them for more than three months out of each year so you won't want to spend vast amounts of money on these items. Plus, a new pair of swimming trunks will make an afternoon in the paddling pool that much more fun.
