Scabies must be treated right away or it will last for months and months. This disease, scabies can also reappear in a person. The reason you might get scabies again can be because you have no treated the disease properly the first time, or just because you cough scabies again from another person. The scabies symptoms are very similar to those of other medical conditions. They are the result of your immune system trying to fight scabies. The symptoms for scabies appear after about two to five weeks after the actual infestation. However, a person who had
scabies before can have those symptoms again in about two days after the re infestation with scabies.
In the majority of adults, scabies presents vesicles, nodules and pustules which are extremely itchy, especially at night. In adults, scabies is found mostly on the fingers,genital areas, wrist, elbows and feet. Scabies can also produce infection, because of the schratching. In women, the nipples can be a very sensitive area when scabies is concerned. When children or infants are concerned, scabies can affect all their bodies.
The treatment for scabies is with lotions and creams which are prescribed by your doctor. There is also a big problem when diagnosing scabies, because of the common symptoms that it has. To proper diagnose scabies, doctors must take skn samples and analyze them at the microscope. If scabies mites are found in the skin, than the doctor can diagnose you with scabies.
