The meaning of verse 7:65
And, Allah sent, to, the ancient, Aad their brother (their prophet) "Hood". He said, ‘O my people, worship Allah, affirm His Oneness! You have no god other than Him. Will you not fear Him? and so believe? Will you not ward off the worship of other than Him?'
The meaning of verse 7:66
The council, the leaders, the chieftains, those of his people who disbelieved, said: ‘We truly see you in foolishness, in ignorance, and we truly deem you of the liars', in what you say.Why the leaders almost always belied their prophets? In article 45, the leaders belied the great Prophet Noah, and herein , the leaders of the people belied also their Prophet Hood.
The meaning of verse 7:67
Hood said, ‘O my people, there is no foolishness or ignorance in me, but I am a messenger from the Lord of the Worlds to you.'
The meaning of verse 7:68
Hood said, I convey to you the Messages of my Lord by explaining the commands and prohibitions, and I am your truthful adviser, warning you of Allah's torment and calling you to repentance and faith, and I am trustworthy in conveying the message of my Lord. It is also said that this means: you used to consider me a trustworthy person, so how is it that you are now accusing me.
The meaning of verse 7:69
And Hood said:Or do you marvel that a reminder (prophet hood) from your Lord should come to you through, the tongue of, a man from among you, that he may warn you of Allah's torment? And remember when Allah made you vicegerents, on earth, after the people of Noah, after the destruction of the people of Noah, and increased your stature in extension, in strength and in height. (Some said that the tallest of them measured 100 feet, the shortest, 60; they were Giants).
Remember then all the bounties of Allah, His graces, so that you might believe in Him, prosper, triumph and that haply you may escape Allah's wrath and torment.I wonder why the History Scholars ignore studying the Ancient Giants Aad?
