Suppose you could look and feel like "Victory?" and capture the feeling of momentous triumph at will?
What difference would that make in your success journey if you felt like you just scored the winning goal in World Cup Soccer?
Fortunately, you don't have be a soccer player to find out.
Here's how to look and feel like "Victory!" and experience a great moment of triumph at will.
On July, 10, 1999, Brandi Chastain scored the winning goal that earned the U.S. women's soccer team the World Cup title. With 90,185 spectators in the Rose Bowl and 40 million watching on TV, she also struck a classic victory pose.
When she scored the winning goal, she ripped off her shirt, sank to her knees, clenched her fists, raised her arms shoulder high, leaned back a bit, looked up, and lit up her face with a look that proclaimed "Victory!" loud and clear.
Stated another way, if I had to say what "Victory!" looked like, I'd say "Brandi Chastain scoring the winning goal."
And Sports Illustrated added the exclamation point. The cover of the next issue featured Chastain in her moment of triumph with a big "Yes!" superimposed on her image.
The next time you need a moment of "Victory!" and resounding "Yes!" to empower you toward success, strike the same pose as Brandi Chastain.
OK. So you don't have to drop to your knees, tear your shirt off, and so forth. You can empower your mind and feel a sense of "Victory!" all the same.
Here's simple technique that I teach. I've observed it works even for people who know nothing about soccer!
Take a deep breath.
Elevate your gaze as if looking at an imaginary point just above a distant horizon.
Clenched your fists, raise your arms shoulder high, leaned back a bit, and light up your face with a look that proclaims "Victory!" loud and clear.
Do this a few times in rapid succession. If you are alone or you don't care who might think you just lost your mind, yell out a resounding "Yes!"
As you feel this sense of victory, you will discover that your mind does not care whether you've ever stepped out onto a soccer field or not.
As you feel the sense of "Victory!" you empower your mind to achieve victory after victory after victory. Fortunately, your mind feels both imagined and real victory the same way.
So use your body and the pose of Brandi Chastain to capture the feeling of "Victory!" at will.
Even if you are not a World Cup fan, celebrate your own winning moves as you capture the look and feel of "Victory!"
