Samsung Epic 4G is now out in the market and the long awaited days are over now. Epic 4G is the Second 4G phone available in the market which has been released with handful of multimedia features as well. Epic 4G belongs to the Galaxy S series and it can be said that this will become the best of the series. This phone features the well known AMOLED display of the Samsung and also enriched with handful of other features as well. All will accept that the name Epic the best choice after reading the review. Let us travel into the features of the phone,

Samsung Epic 4G Design:

The all new shiny black finish and the rounded corners have given a neat look to the EPIC but it has to be accepted that the phone is not appealing. The phone is not the sexiest of the Galaxy S series phones available in the market. The next thing you will note in the mobile is the big 4 inch AMOLED display which is quite common in all the Samsung phones these days. The accelerometer present in the display is awesome as usual. The visual keyboard present in the phone is quite impressive as the accelerometer helps in giving quick responses.

There are four keys present just below the display which are used for easy navigation without opening the keypad. The four buttons are home, back, menu and the search button. There is a QWERTY keypad present below the main top panel with 5 rows of keys. There is a USB port present on the top of the phone along with a 3.5 mm headset jack. There is a camera present in the back of the phone with a LED Flash and the button on the right spine. Epic 4G is the only phone with Flash. There is a microSD card slot present behind the battery cover while the screen power off is on the right spine.

Samsung Epic 4G Features and Review:

Samsung Epic 4G is provided with a 1GHz Hummingbird Cortex A8 processor which helps in the smooth running of the phone. This phone is not yet been provided with a Froyo yet as it is running an Android 2.1 OS now. The TouchWiz 3.0 interface present in the AMOLED screen also helps in giving quick responses. Epic 4G can be used as a Wi-Fi hot spot for a maximum of 5 devices. There is an internal memory of 1GB which can be expanded up to 16GB with the help of the microSD card slot.

There is a 5 Megapixels camera present in the backside of the phone which takes clear images even during the night time. There is a front facing VGA camera for video call facilities. Some of the other features of the phone are GPS, Bluetooth, speakerphone and much more.

The data connectivity speed is quite awesome as the 4G helps in maximizing the experience. The videos were loaded in a fast manner than a 3G phone. This multimedia features needs a good battery support which is also provided by the phone. This phone has talktime hours of around 8 and stand by time is 21 days.
