Three Paradoxes for Success in Your Small Business

The first paradox that I think helps me be a better internet marketer is the idea that I Rise by Lowering. This means that when I put serving others first, it affects the perception others have on me. I don't do it with that idea of audience, but with genuine desire to serve. I know i look admirably at those that live by serving and I hold them in high esteem. Man, military personnel...talk about service to others. Like you, I hold our service people in high esteem. thank you!

You've heard the saying, "I will help someone else be successful, then i wil have been successful." There are many in forums and blogs that share freely their experiences & tips & even time to look at a fellow marketer's campaigns and help them experience success. So in my internet affiliate marketing business, I look to serve my young marketing team with as much free help, encouragement, material I can provide. In turn I know I'll be benefiting, but I try to keep my intent pure.

A second paradox that I think helps me be a better marketer is the idea that I Get by Giving. Yes, this has become cliché and mostly looked upon in a jaded fashion, but that is because there is expectation attached to giving. If I expect something in return, I am often disappointed. But when I give with no expectation, there is something transcendent about the benefit. Much of my heart for my business is that I can learn what it takes to experience success so that I can help some friends and family and any others become more financially successful. Notice I said much. I'm very human and have wants, but I'm taking this approach. When I give away freebies in promotion, I recognize this leads to many more opportunities for sales. But when I give of my time and talent in helping other fellow teachers, basketball coaches, fathers (and even marketers here soon) be successful, the reward transcends just a sale. Yes, I have an internet affiliate marketing business to make extra money, but I know that when I am able to focus on helping others do the same this will be rewarding to me in many ways including financial. A third paradox that I find helps my business is I gain by losing. When I reduce the focus on myself, I ultimately set myself up to prosper more. I know this sounds contrary to conditioned thinking, but it is the true order of abundance. The more we focus on ourselves and our needs, desires, tasks, wants, etc. the more we stand a chance of never realizing any true prosperity-financial or any other type of prosperity-like health-peace of mind-perspective. As a new internet marketer, I see so many areas where I tend to focus on myself and I end up obstructing the flow and even reversing the flow. Ever wonder why there never seems to be enough time? Money? Peace? Where is my focus? On getting. On rising. On gaining? My focus should to be on giving, serving and losing of myself. This is my path to success. When I focus on making those around me- my kids, my wife, my co-workers, and especially those looking to find a way to improve their financial success, I find that I tend to see the results.

I know I need to serve those that have signed under me for some of my businesses and the more I hep them through the paralysis of information, the better they will be about helping those they bring into business. This helps me directly and indirectly. The marketer who serves his clients honestly and delivers is golden and its laughable that honest servitude is a niche. People trust when they see genuine evidence. honestly, I have to work at this mentality, but i have seen and experienced evidence that this is the way to go. Putting this paradox into practice requires some conditioning away from prior me thinking.

If you want to put your business in the current of prosperity, then try applying these paradoxical principles with no expectations that they will do magic, but rather that it's the right way to do life ....and internet marketing.
