Drastic times require drastic measures . . . and today's real estate market is certainly seeing some drastic times! Statistics have shown the amount of housing inventory has more than doubled in the last year. Homes in all categories and price points are languishing on the market with no prospective buyers in sight.



You've been scrambling, looking for more and more ways to be creative . . . more and more ways to make your property stand out from the crowd. You've been told to start finding new ways to think outside of the box. Well here is a way for you do that. Get 'Crazy'!



The following are a few 'Crazy' ways to sell your house. You can . . .



1. Park a candy apple red luxury car in the garage



2. Offer weekly maid, pool or gardening services for a year



3. Send your broker on a first class trip to Tahiti for two



4. Include a paid up membership to the golf / country club for a year



5. Rent a billboard . . . or two or three



6. Deliver a personal chef to the door once a month for a year



7. Include a season pass for all members of the family to the local gym, spa or Disney World . . . (can you tell I'm from Florida) . . .



I am sure you have figured out where I'm going with all of this by now . . . You have to get creative and think Crazy! While all of these ideas sound very expensive, and they are, you need to realize that in most cases they are going to be less costly than your first price reduction!



I have given you just a few 'Crazy' ways you can set your listing apart from the rest, and get people talking. I'm sure you can come up with many more to add to the list. Remember . . . instead of thinking price reductions, start thinking "Lifestyle Incentives!"
