Britney Spears' life is spinning out of control! How could Britney Spears, whose music career began with a good girl image, fall hopelessly into a destructive path that made her an unfit parent? Is the temptation to live a fun filled life only granted when you are willing to do anything to please the crowd? Or is Britney's ability to know the difference between good and bad been clouded by drugs and alcohol?

A pop star entered the stage surrounded by dancers keeping rhythm with the drums, guitars and keyboards. The high energy tempo of the music pulled each person out of their seats and made them sway excitedly. As the words to the song filled the arena a look of unity paraded onto the faces of the audience giving fuel to the music that was persuading them to let go and have a great time.

The musical lyrics were explicit enticing the youth to do whatever feels good at the moment because they would only be young once. Defy your parents, look down at the law, drive your car fast, get drunk, take drugs or have sex with as many people as you want. The enthusiasm of the crowd ignited and a passion of defiance filled the stadium giving fuel to youthful feelings of rebellion against authority.

It is easy to get caught up in the freedom that is sung about in a song. You can fight against the police authorities over stealing, drugs, or driving drunk. You can think about and do whatever you want without thinking about the consequences of an unwanted pregnancy. You can tell your parents off, leave home and become a runaway with no future. It's easy to live your life like a song, but what would happen to our lives if we really gave in and did all the bad things that our human nature desires.

Ecclesiastes 11: 9&10, "Young people, enjoy your youth. Be happy while you are still young. Do what you want to do, and follow your heart's desire. But remember that God is going to judge you for whatever you do. Don't let anything worry you or cause you pain. You aren't gong to be young very long."

The Jewish religion believes that a boy reaches the age of accountability at thirteen and a girl at the age of twelve. They are no longer considered children because they now have the ability to know the difference between right and wrong, because while young their parents taught them godly principles for living the right kind of life.

Regardless of whether you are Jewish or not, this is the age when parents throughout the entire world shutter and shake because their child is now a teenager. Their once perfect little angel is now a raging hormonally unbalanced devil in disguise. A person who questions everything they ask him or her to do in chores, to not breaking the all important curfew. A teenager who doesn't listen to what you say, doesn't talk to you unless provoked, and acts like you are the last person on earth they want to be with.

Most people do not know that thirteen is the age that a very important spiritual law begins to take shape. It opens a youth's mind to choices that have consequences. It presents different life situations in order for them to choose whether they will follow God or Satan.

Parents who teach their children God principles help them to navigate their world understanding how sin can harm your life. It explains the spiritual battle between God and Satan. It reveals to them the supernatural working of the Holy Spirit or how when you give into wrong desires they can lead you to being possessed by the evil deceiver Satan.

When we are not taught about God or if a youth chooses to have nothing to do with God, then a different principle governs their conscience. Satan takes away their ability to make right choices by introducing them to alcohol and drugs. Once they have sold themselves to addictions they are drawn away by lying spirits and hardened mentally from being able to make right decisions.

This is the reason Britney Spears is so out of control. She has given her conscience over to Satan. Satan confuses her life with addictions and keeps her from making right choices even for the sake of the children she loves. This is also the reason why there are so many teen pregnancies, runaways, and gangs. Without the knowledge of God we are helpless and forced to live life like everyone else.

1Timothy 4: 1&2, "The Spirit says clearly that some people will abandon the faith in later times; they will obey lying spirits and follow the teachings of demons. Such teachings are spread by deceitful liars, whose consciences are dead, as if burnt with a hot iron."

When you fill your thoughts constantly with negative and destructive friends who think having fun is to party all of the time, you fill your conscience with destructive thinking. You drive your car while drunk. You endanger the lives of your children. You no longer look at the best interest of others, but at what is going to enable you to have more fun.

Proverbs 23: 29&30, "Show me someone who drinks too much, who has to try out fancy drinks, and I will show you someone miserable and sorry for himself, always causing trouble and always complaining. His eyes are bloodshot, and he has bruises that could have been avoided." Verse 35, "'I must have been hit,' you will say; 'I must have been beaten up, but I don't remember it. Why can't I wake up? I need another drink.'"

Understanding that puberty is the beginning entry into an unseen spiritual battle between God and Satan, gives young people the ability to fight. They can stand strong against the crowd who tells them that this is how you must behave in order to have fun. God shows them the consequences of living on the edge and how Satan uses this to ruin their lives with unwanted pregnancies and jail sentences for crimes they committed under the influence of drugs.

This is the reason why a famous rock star like Britney Spears can spiral out of control because of her addictions. All because she doesn't understand that we are in a world game of life. A life game that is fought on a spiritual level and a human level. Freewill allows us to do whatever we want, but this does not make it right.

Proverbs 5: 22&23, "The sins of a wicked man are a trap. He gets caught in the net of his own sin. He dies because he has no self-control. His utter stupidity will send him to his grave."

When you are in a life game you will be tempted in order for you to choose the right path. If you continue to do wrong you will be judged by the media, parents and friends, but if you do what is right you will earn a place in heaven that is far superior to what the world has to give.

The best news of all is when you are in a game of life you are allowed to make mistakes. You can stop what you are doing now and start your game all over again. If you choose to do what is right, you will be blessed.

Jesus is the light for a world that is filled with dark choices. Jesus helps us to enjoy music for the sound and rhythm. To party for fun alone and not for getting high. He helps us to separate ourselves from those who are rebellious and end up fighting with the justice system over custody of their children like Britney Spears. Jesus Christ protects us from coming under the judgment that happens to those who refuse to obey the spiritual laws that govern our societies.

Proverbs 2:6-8, "It is the Lord who gives wisdom; from him come knowledge and understanding. He provides help and protection for righteous, honest men. He protects those who treat others fairly, and guards those who are devoted to him."

What seemed like good fun turned out to be a heavy thick unyielding chain that took away their ability to make right choices by addicting them to drugs and alcohol. The good news is that in a life game you can stop what you are doing and start all over again! Choose to do what is right! God loves You!
