First of all, you're going to need to make sure that they fit the style you are trying to use in your kitchen.  However, if you're looking for something a little more classy than the standard stainless steel sink, these are definitely the option for you should be looking at.

Glass sinks come in a lot of different colors and designs.  If you're looking for high quality glass sinks that come in more than 17 different colors, you should look at the Oceana brand of sinks.  These sinks are designed to be beautiful and long-lasting, even if they're made out of glass.

One thing that you should worry about regarding the glass sinks is that they will not be quite as strong as a normal metal sink.  Therefore, you should only look into buying a glass sink if it has some information regarding how durable it will be.  Most of the sinks that are on the market should say what they are able to withstand, however.  For instance, if you purchase and Oceana sink, you will have a glass sink that is designed to withstand temperature changes of up to 212 degrees Fahrenheit!  You won't have to worry about damaging your sink by pouring hot water down it if you purchase a sink like this.

You should also make sure that you get something to set into your sink while it is in use - especially if you wash heavy pots and pans in your kitchen sink.  Even though most of the glass sinks on the market are marked okay for daily use, they are more likely to be damaged in this manner than a regular stainless steel sink.

Finally, glass sinks are going to be much more expensive than a stainless steel sink.  Therefore, you should only choose these types of sinks if you are looking for something that is stylish and classy for your kitchen.
