Have you ever thought about the time that you spend shopping for your home and family? Chances are you spend four to six hours a week shopping for the things you want or need. Now just sit back for a moment and conceder how much of that time is spent looking for bargains or searching for something that is unique. How many times have you returned home either empty handed or with an item that was a little short of your expectations? Are you looking to change any of that? You can!; and the best part of it is that you can shop in your own home, have it delivered right to you door, and get almost anything you are shopping for at one web address. Impossible you say? Surely you have heard of eBay.

eBay has changed the buying habits of millions of people. Instead of going to a retail store for items such as printer cartridges, unique and everyday items for the home, hobby and collectable items, just to name a few, they shop online at eBay.

Finding the Bargains: In order to find the bargain items on eBay you can employ three simple tricks that the seasoned eBayers use to find them.

One method may involve a bit of a risk. Once you have conducted your search and have a list of the auctions that have that treasure you are looking for in front of you, try to find a few that are being auctioned by sellers with a low, positive feedback number. Check the comments left in their feedback to check if the comments are left by buyers or sellers. Analyze the comments that have been left for the seller to decide weather or not you should watch that auction for bidding.

Another system to use is finding the auctions with misspelled titles and descriptions. A prime example would be searching for a SONY PlayStation. Try using SONEY, PlayStashion or both in your search parameters.

The third technique is simply finding that hidden jewel listed in an inappropriate category. Most of the eBay shoppers will search by category and will completely miss an item listed in an obscure category.

Finding the Unique: This by far is the easiest type of item to find on eBay. Many people start selling on eBay because they have acquired merchandise that may have been given to them or inherit from the passing of a loved one. eBay has many Categories and Sub Categories specifically targeted for this type of shopper.

Hand Crafted Items: Thousands of eBay sellers make a supplemental income from the merchandise that they craft themselves. You are most likely to find unique items as well when searching for crafted items. The list is vast and would include candles, wooden pieces, pottery, blankets and afghans, fishing lures or jewelry.

If you haven't tried browsing eBay for just about anything you are looking for, you should. Along the way you just might free up a little more valuable leisure time.
