Who put a hit on K-Fed?

Over the weekend, Entertainment Tonight revealed that they had been tracking tips from both the FBI and the LAPD that somebody has taken out a mafia-style hit on Kevin Federline. Best Week Ever, a celebrity gossip blog from VH1, had some details in their latest post. They quoted ET saying that “Multiple sources tell ET that the FBI made attempts to contact Federline to inform him of the potential danger.” K-Fed is reportedly taking the news in stride.

The allegations led the author of the Best Week Ever blog to speculate that crazy old Britney Spears could be behind this one, although everybody seems to be hoping that she wasn’t.  According to the post “so could Britney Spears - backed against a wall and facing the increasingly real prospect of losing her children - have had some kind of shady meeting in a dark bar where she chain-smoked cigarettes and said something like, “I want that bastard Kevin dead, y’all?”

The FBI was reportedly tipped off about this almost two months ago, although the details have just hit the media recently. The timeline fits in nicely with Britney Spears gradual descent into outright craziness.

Audio of Simpson robbery leaked

Late-night comedy writers are rejoicing amidst news that OJ Simpson is back behind bars. The story originally broke last week about Simpson leading a supposed armed robbery to reacquire some lost sports memorabilia that he felt was stolen from him. However, over the weekend Simpson was formally charged and arrested. Defamer, a widely-read celebrity gossip blog, carried some of the details from the weekend’s Simpson-related events. Defamer reported that “Simpson was charged with two counts each of robbery with a deadly weapon and assault with a deadly weapon, and one count each of conspiracy to commit burglary and burglary with a firearm.”

The post also mentioned that TMZ had acquired audio tape of the incident and it has started doing the rounds of celebrity gossip blogs. According to Defamer, OJ can be heard on the tape yelling “Don’t let nobody out of this room. You motherf**kers! Think you can steal my sh*t and get away with it?” Defamer also mentioned that OJ had been denied bail and would have to remain in court “until his bond hearing 7:45 a.m. Wednesday morning.”

Christina’s bodyguard smacks female fan

Christina Aguilera, looking quite pregnant, made a rather high-profile departure from an Emmy after party at The Ivy, a popular LA nightspot. TMZ has reported that “Christina Aguilera left a fan in tears outside the Ivy - after her bodyguard knocked the girl in the face!”

TMZ cameras were reportedly already at the restaurant on Saturday. According to the post, “a Venezuelan fan kept screaming in Spanish for Aguilera's attention, but got no response -- except for a smack in the face by her passing bodyguard!” Xtina and her “husbore” Jordan Bratman were quickly ushered into a waiting limousine and spirited away as passers-by and paparazzi were stunned by the brutality of Christina’s bodyguards.

TMZ reported that the girl was left in tears after the incident, but still remained a fan of Christina. Speaking to TMZ, she said “I'm not crying because of her, I love her ... I'm crying because one of her bodyguards hit me in the mouth.” Additionally, it was noted that she was heard shouting “I love fame” as she ran away, presumably back to Venezuela.

Hayden dating Milo?

Hayden Panettiere has gone from virtual unknown a year ago to being one of the most-talked about stars in Hollywood. After she reportedly ended her year-long relationship with “not-so-famous Laguna Beach boyfriend Stephen Coletti,” celebrity gossip blog The Daily Blabber is now linking Panettiere with Transformers star Milo Ventimiglia. According to their latest post, “rumors began to fly that Hayden was getting very close to her co-star Milo Ventimiglia and, at this weekend's Emmy celebrations, the two young stars were everywhere together.”

Although Hayden told Emmy host Ryan Seacrest that “she brought her mom and her agent as her dates,” The Daily Blabber confirmed that Hayden and Milo had been “sitting next to each other” during the show.
These two relatively clean-cut young stars certainly seem to be dating and while celebrity gossip bloggers are quite pleased that they have a new celeb relationship to talk about, The Daily Blabber called the hook-up a nightmare. “So, are they dating? Probably, which is just a nightmare for me. Have you tried spelling these two names without having to look it up? I tell you, it's just not possible.”
