Liberty Cabinet Hardware is a forerunner of the cabinet hardware industry. Liberty Hardware has such a variety of hardware from handles and knobs that are sophisticated to products that are fun and fanciful. This article will walk you through some of the ABC's of Liberty Cabinet Hardware.

A
Acrylic faceted knob- These Liberty Hardware knobs, with their many sides and angles, create a crystal-like effect and come in round ball and rounded side shapes.
Aluminum pull, anodized- Anodized metals are coated with a super strong bonding that makes for an extremely durable finish.
Astrodome knob- This knob has etched in rings around the knob. Besides for the attractive statement that it makes, the astrodome knob offers a sturdy grip.

B
Bow pull- A bow pull is a classic handle that is loved for its simplicity of design and sheer good looks. A bow pull is a thin line handle that arches gradually.
Betsey Fields- Betsey Fields is a fun and fanciful collection from Liberty Hardware that promotes nautical themes and designs. From anchor and starfish to a brushed satin pewter finish, Betsey Fields knobs and pulls are charming additions.
Birdcage knob/pull- Possibly some of the most attractive hardware items, birdcage knobs and pulls have twisted wire cages that trail off on either end. Birdcage pulls and knobs have both straight and ball end models and come in a robust iron forge with varying finishes.

C
Curl pull- The Liberty retro curl pull has a round lip that extends down onto the cabinet or drawer surface, creating a cup-like pull.
Copeland pull- Copeland pulls are simple bar pulls that are super thin and long pulls.
Caree small round knob- The caree knob is a thick peg in the shape of a plus sign with decorative rivets cut into the sides.

D
Diminishing pull- Extreme trendy describes this Liberty pull. The diminishing pull is a Nike-esque check mark with bold curves.
Dee pull- Dee pulls are thicker bar pulls with uniform thickness all through the pull.
Domed ring- This hardware design has a pull with a thick central bar that tapers off and finishes with decorative bands at each end. The knob is similar to the concentric circle knob.
Diva pull- The diva pull is a simple bar pull with personality. The ends start out simple, but quickly narrow in and then bulge out towards the middle. This is a secure full-hand grip.
Dimpled pull/knob- A distinctly modern appearance, dimple knobs and pulls have a series of indented dots neatly lined up in a square or rectangular design on the face of the knob or pull. Knobs are a simple flat round head and pulls are a wide flat curved or rectangular arch.

E
Etched face pull- Similar to the dimpled pull, the etched face pull has an attractive diamond design etched onto the face. Finished in polished brass and made with a delicate design that fades towards the center, this pull gives a more elegant appearance than most. A sturdy elongated U-bar completes the impression of class.

F
French lace- French lace is a beautifully ornate design that is well loved. Bail pulls have wide U bars with back plates and ring pulls have large hoop-like rings in a decorative base. French Lace Liberty knobs and pulls are all richly decorated with curling details and slight floral effects. With exquisite finishes such as tumbled antique brass, Venetian bronze and brushed satin pewter, French lace hardware is a stunning choice that adds elegance and originality at the same time.
Fusili pull- Fusili Liberty pulls are simple bar pulls that curve in a wave-like fashion. These come in large and small versions.
Filmore pull- The Filmore Liberty pull is rectangular and has a wide, flat arch pull that straightens out at the ends. The straight edges on either side have lines dug into them.

G
Glass knobs and pulls- Glass knobs and pulls create style wherever they are placed. These Victorian knobs are shaped like diamond nuggets and reflect the light magnificently. The crystal cabinet pulls have these nuggets on either end with an ever-so-slightly arched smoked-glass bar in the center and subtly tinted coloring.

H
Hole punch pull- In keeping with the style of the dimpled pulls, the hole punch Liberty pull has a line of dug out oval-shaped holes spanning the center of the bar and rests on small thin pegs on either end.

I
Inverted (Gita) knob- The inverted knob has a dip in the center of the head, and is made from stainless steel. It's a no-nonsense knob with a little bit of personality.

J
Jockey cap knob- This is a sweet knob with a head that resembles a jockey cap. The head rests on a pedestal before reaching the back plate.

K
Knuckle knob/pull- The knuckle hardware is a good-looking design that says simple beauty. The pulls have bands wrapped around the near edges and the rings have wavy-like rings wrapped around the head of the knob.

M

Peak knob- Flatter and ever more subtle, the peak knob has imitated the design element of the perimeter knob in a more inconspicuous way.

R
Rustique Laurel knobs/pulls- Rustique Laurel hardware is ornately decorated with leaves around the head of the knob and bar of the pull. Knobs rest on a round squat pedestal and pulls are round thick bars that graduate into the end pegs.
Ridge ball knob- Two versions, one idea. The ridge ball knob is either a perfectly round and smooth ball that rests on a short, wide circular base made from chrome/clear combo or a crystal ridged ball head resting on a brass base. Both are elegant and discreetly beautiful.
Ribbed bow pull- These stylish pulls have arches with ridges cut into the center of the bar. Ribbed bow pulls end on thick graduating triangular pegs.

S

T

Two tone- The two-tone Liberty knobs have brass rings topped with a polished chrome circle. The base is also a polished chrome pedestal.

V
Victorian glass knob- see glass knobs and pulls

W
Whistle knob- This aluminum Liberty knob is a small round peg with a dip in the side for easy gripping. As the name implies, this knob looks like an old-time train whistle.
Wire swirl knob- Similar to the birdcage, the wire swirl knobs are made of manipulated wire that has been swirled into a ball cage. Expertly made, these knobs have various effects topping them off.
Waterfall pull/waterfall cup pull- These Liberty cup pulls come in single or split door models. A flat piece of metal bulges out in the center to form the ideal grasping surface for effortless access.
