Retail shelving, stockroom shelving and stockroom racking can provide and maximise stock capacity at lower costs.

Efficient stockroom storage is essential for any retailer to achieve maximum stock density. Stock racking, stockroom shelving and stockroom racking systems are ideally suited to stockroom applications.

Mobile shelving and two-tier systems provide increased capacity or enable a store to operate with a smaller stock room to free up valuable retail space.

A well designed stockroom will reduce stock damage and provide increased stock capacity and faster pick rates resulting in increased sales per square foot.

A few examples of Retail shelving systems available are as follows:

Mobile Stockroom Shelving

Mobile stockroom shelving is a space saving, stock racking system designed to increase stock capacity in retail stockrooms by saving floor space and reducing the amount of aisles required.

High density mobile shelving is widely used in retail to reduce the stockroom space required.

Hardware Storage

Hardware retailers have a wide range of different sized products to store and this requires a flexible system that will accommodate the stock variations.

The wider shelves provided by Heavy Duty Long span shelving offer more uninterrupted shelf space and will accommodate greater combinations of shapes and sizes.

Double depth shelving is the most cost effective solution as this provides picking from either side as well as offering deep shelves for those oversized items.

Stockroom Mobile Racking

Mobile Shelving Systems are the ideal solution when increased stock density is required in a retail stockroom. A 50% increase in stock capacity is easily achieved in most cases.

A typical stockroom can be reduced by around 14m2, generating additional sales area, increasing sales opportunities or simply reducing annual rental costs.

The use of mobile racking can positively affect the viability of smaller retail units and enable the use of sites that were previously considered too small.

Garment Racking

Garment Racking, Garment Hanging, Hanging Garment Racking for retail stockrooms.

Garments are stored folded or hanging and most clothing retailers prefer a combination of both depending on the type of garments stocked and how the stock arrives through the distribution network.

The most common hanging system is Double Sided Garment Hanging which allows two garments to hang within the framework of the shelving unit, this is more economical and the preferred option for most retailers, due to space been saved and allowing for easy access. Single Sided Garment Hanging is more suitable for shelving units situated against walls.
