For any guy, having a penile yeast infection is one of the more painful events you'll ever go through. Generally speaking, yeast infections are always thought to be only something that women have to deal with. Unfortunately, that just isn't true. Male yeast infections are much more common than you may believe. Here are some of the symptoms that occur with penile yeast infection.

1. Burning Sensation - One of the most obvious symptoms of a penis yeast infection is the burning that accompanies it. This happens not only when you are going to the bathroom, but it can burn throughout the day.

2. Itching - Another pesky symptom is the itching that comes with the infection. The itching can drive you nuts at times. And the more you itch the more it burns.

3. Sores/Blisters - In many cases of this type of yeast infection in males you'll often find yourself getting reddish colored sores or blisters on your penis. These sores can be especially painful when touched or just by them being rubbed while walking.

4. Discharge - A common symptom that happens with both men and women is a white discharge. While not present in all cases, you should be prepared for this to happen nonetheless.

5. Sexual Performance - A side symptom of penile yeast infection has nothing to do with the medical end, but with the physical end. With this type of infection it will be next to impossible to become intimate with your partner.

The pain a yeast infection causes is hard to express unless you have actually went through it. But the last thing on your mind will be any type of intimacy.

Admittedly, having an infection is a serious issue, but it is also not the end of the world. There are cures for it that will provide relief.

The important thing to do is to find out what is causing the penile yeast infections to begin with. Then, find out what you can do to eliminate them in the future. Simply treating the symptoms will not prevent future occurrences.
