Bathroom soap dispensers are a great investment for your family and your household. Many people turn to them with a desire for their home (and by extension their families) to be more sanitary and les susceptible to disease. Particularly during the cold and flu season, concerns mothers especially are always looking for ways to help remind their kids to wash their hands to keep from spreading germs and to kill them instead. Because bathroom soap dispensers are usually mounted closer to eye level than a normal bar of soap would be situated, your household will be much more likely to see the soap, be reminded of the need to wash their hands, and then actually use the soap to protect themselves. But you already know all that. In fact, you have probably already ordered your time, money, and germ-saving device, and probably even a couple of shower soap dispensers too (but that's its own article). You have been willing to take the initial cost of buying a new device in exchange for the long-term benefits and savings. The box has finally arrived in the mail and you're anxious to get your new appliance up and filled so they can be working to help protect your family. Now comes the manual labor; how to attach your new bathroom soap dispenser to the wall?

Double-sided tape and silicon glue is considered to be the easiest way of installing your new shower soap dispenser as it require no heavy duty tools. However, since this method is purely superficial to the wall, it can make some people nervous as to how long it will stand up to heavy use. But keep in mind that other than the soap, there will be no weight added to the bathroom soap dispenser through any pulling or pressure during use, so it will probably be fine.

• You want to attach the soap dispenser to a clean surface. Depending on what type of surface you're working with, solutions such as rubbing alcohol or nail polish remover are probably good. Obviously, you want the area to be dry when you go to mount so don't use any cleaning mixtures with oil in the ingredients.
• Detach the soap compartment from the mounting bracket. You want minimum weight while the glue is drying.
• Press the mounting bracket firmly against the wall and apply pressure for a few minutes.
• There is a delicate balance to figuring out how much glue to use. You obviously want as much glue as possible to ensure the best hold for your shower soap dispenser, but you don't want so much that it oozes out from the sides. If you discover that you did apply too much, simply wipe away the excess.
• Let the glue completely dry before reattaching and filling with soap.
• Then, simply fill your new dispensers with soap, shampoo, or lotion and enjoy!
• It's also probably a good idea to use the labels that come with your device as well.

Before doing any permanent damage through either mounting process for your bathroom soap dispenser, be sure that the area you have selected to attach it to provides enough room for it to be cleaned and refilled easily.
