Change Your Life This New Years Eve

Last new years eve, I was in the city with my friends. Fed up, sick and tired of my life, I decided to make two powerful new years eve resolutions. Firstly, to develop a complete self help website, free of charge, to help anyone achieve more success. Secondly, to host a self help seminar. I'm proud to say that I have achieved both of these goals, and now, its your turn.

The year is almost over. What are you going to do this new years eve? Are you going to waste it getting drunk with your friends? Or are you going to use it to your advantage?

As the clock ticks closer towards midnight 2006, I'd like you to consider the following points, and think very hard about your future.

1) If you don't do anything, how can you expect your life to change?

"Are you crazy Michael", my friend once said to me. "A self help website, and a seminar? You aren't going to make it". If I had listened to my friend, I would have been doomed.

No one knows your full potential. If we aren't even aware of our own potential, then how can anyone else say that they are aware of ours? Secondly, you have more chance of succeeding if you try than if you don't try at all. If all you do is complain, and sit on your backside, what chance do you have of achieving anything? Absolutely none!

2) If you don't help yourself, who else is going to help you?

If no one else cares about your future, then you must care twice as much. Your boss certainly isn't going to help you! He couldn't care less whether you succeed or not. As long as you do your job and continue to make money for him, he will be very happy (at your expense).

Is society going to help you? Not likely. They haven't helped me recently. All they do is judge you, criticise you, and belittle you.

3) Its now or never!

If you don't make a goal to change your life now, when are you? Its now or never my friends. Change your life now, or you might never do it! Don't face another year of misery and unsatisfaction. You owe it to yourself to have everything you ever wanted. You deserve better.

Think about all the pain you have ever felt, and use it as motivation to change your life

I want you to think about all the pain in your life. All the pain you have ever felt, and all the pain you are currently experiencing. Take all the pain of your life, and focus it on one question:

What am I going to do about this pain?

Am I just going to complain and be miserable forever? Am I just going to accept the fact that I don't get paid enough money? Am I going to accept having to settle for second best all the time? Am I going to accept the fact that I'm not happy, and do nothing about it? Or, are you going to finally get up the confidence, and make a decision to do something about it?

I urge you to make a commitment

This new years, when the clock ticks towards midnight, and you are thinking about your life. Think strongly about the future. All change starts with a powerful commitment to make a change. From there, make small daily changes to your actions, and to your thinking. There is no easy way to achieve success, but don't let that deter you. Be excited by the fact that at least there is a way to acheive success, and it is very possible; I'm the living proof.
