It will vary depending on where you live. You can create a pretty stable, regular income that you can earn in addition to performing and selling CD's.

However, it is necessary to be knowledgeable and well versed in several different types of music to have the best opportunity at making it.

If you are really good with the computer and how to run a business, you can really make a good income that can support your other guitar activities.
