Turn Off #1: Talking bad about your exes when you first start dating.
Women everywhere have experienced heartbreaks and have dated heartbreakers. Some of our heartbreaks were our fault for not standing up for ourselves but others were the fault of the guys. It's not in your best interest to discuss these heartbreaks with your new guy. Since the first few dates are the time of discovery and he will decide whether to continue dating you, speaking badly about past guys will turn him off for sure. Don't ever do this.
Turn Off #2: Telling or hinting to him that you are looking to settle down.
This is not something that your new guy wants to hear. Basically, you are telling him that because of the timing, you are ready and willing to settle down but not because of him. He won't feel very special. Actually, what you want to convey to him is that you're not in a hurry and will take it as it comes. You live a great life and are very busy but if he turns out to be the one, you would consider committing to a relationship for him. He will then have to prove it.
Turn Off #3: Sharing with him how important money is to you and talking about it.
If you think that money is one of the most important things when selecting a mate, it's okay. All of us want the security of an ambitious, competent and successful man. But the talk of money is one sure way of scaring him off quickly so don't bring this up so he leaves you in the middle of the dinner and sticks you with the bill. Any guy has a deep fear of marrying someone who is just after his money and then will divorce him, especially the guys that make a good living. Materialism in a woman is a huge turn off and you have to avoid displaying this at all costs. A guy wants to know that it is him that you love and not his money. Only then will he be generous and willing with you.
