In the recent showcase of LG Electronics' latest editions of touch-screen phones, the LG KF 700 is one of its 2007 releases that earned good reviews from both critiques and users. This mobile phone boasts of simplicity and functionality encased in black candy-bar design that seems too perfect for the minimalist and ultimately cool for gadget enthusiasts. LG KF 700 shows you the world in a few clicks without using the bygone Stylus pen. Instead, you simply press your finger on the screen and the icons open. It is touchscreen, so it's fuss-free. What's more, the High-Speed Downlink Packet Access or HSDPA ability allows you the fastest Internet browsing and data transfer, up to 7Mbps, in the field of mobile right at the palm of your hand.

LG KF 700 features an updated multimedia. You can find in here an MP3, AAC, AAC+, and MP4 audio and video player. Play a sound and play a full-length movie, whatever gets you in the mood. In short, you won't get bored with your phone as there's a lot more you can do besides making a call or texting a friend. The audio quality is very satisfactory. Consider switching from headphones, to larger speaker or Bluetooth headphones without losing clarity of sound. The video is also superb at 15 frames per second. This works well with the three-inch LCD where the menus are organized in a way they won't accidentally open once you press an icon.

You can also enjoy taking clear shots because of its 3.15 megapixel camera with LED flash that would help you out in low light and dark backgrounds so you still get the ideal 2048x1536 pixels picture quality. Add to it the autofocus and image stabilizer features to inspire your creativity. Autofocus works well for closer shots while the image stabilizer lets you capture moving images sans the unsightly blurs. Modifications are made easy, as well. The digital zoom is found at the back. You turn the dial to find the appropriate distance before taking snaps. But if you browse further in the ‘Settings' sector, there are a few tricks that you can embed on the images for chic results.       

The alphanumeric keypad slides out from the back of the candy-bar phone. It has systematic display for number and text inputs. The keypad is also finger-friendly. No extra keys would confuse you when using it for number and text inputs. There is a Shortcut Dial too in the phone's interface that leads to your preferred folders. You can set the shortcut keys in the Settings list. LG KF 700 having touch screen feature is a major come-on for users but this is intended mainly for menu operations.   

LG KF 700 has Bluetooth support and USB port, a fine alternative method for file sharing. The same old extras are retained - organizer, videocall, stopwatch, alarm, voice memory, video and audio recording, FM radio, and 3D games - applications that users cannot do without.  For some who needs more space, the microSD memory slot is provided to expand your phone's file keeping capacity despite the 90MB built-in memory.

It is actually the HSDPA-enabled Internet connectivity and touchscreen features that endeared LG KF 700 to many users. Too, you can't find the convenience of the well laid out keypad and Shortcut Dial in other phones that try to stuff everything in the units and later mess up.

To sum it up, LG KF 700 is a mobile phone that is fashionable, functional, and simply amazing!
