Cellulite is not a disease, but a common condition appearing in over 90% of women after puberty, predominantly affecting areas of the hips, thighs, buttocks, tummies and backs of the arms. Cellulite is the body's emergency store of body fat, but its ugly, unsightly and unwanted appearance makes one conscious.

One of the easiest and cheapest ways to start removing your cellulite in to start a regular exercise routine. A simple exercise routine can be as easy as three 30 min activities per week. These exercises don't need to be at the gym, all you need to do is get the body moving and increase the heart rate. This can be easy as taking the dog for a walk, swimming, yoga, Pilates and tennis. It's best to pick activities that you enjoy, and keep trying different activities as this will keep you motivated.

While topical cellulite remedies can be very beneficial, they have little effect if used alone.Creams cannot actually penetrate the dermis where much of the damage is. Creams and lotions generally reach only the epidermis, or top layer of skin. Many cellulite treatments are largely unsuccessful because they target only the external appearance of cellulite.

They are unable to completely fight the damage where it lives. Now that you understand that the dimpling on the surface of the skin is merely a symptom of the underlying cause, you can see how banishing lumps and bumps require deeper-acting treatments in addition to topical ones.

Rub approximate 1/2 cup of warm brewed coffee grounds into dimpled areas (the heat helps to release the caffeine) and then use plastic wrap to trap the grounds against your skin. Think of this as your own spa caffeine body wrap. Leave the plastic wrap on for about 10-15 minutes. Since caffeine is a diuretic, it helps shrink skin cells for a tighter look. Effects can last up to 24 hours.

Many doctors, researchers and pharmacists will tell you that cellulite is an estrogen issue and that is why it appears most often in post-pubescent women. However, there are a number of hormones that occur during that time, and any one of those could actually be the culprit. Others will provide info on cellulite that declares that cellulite is a metabolism issue, and that as a women's metabolism begins to slow down, instances of cellulite will worsen.

Drinking 3 glasses a day of freshly squeezed lemons in 1 cup water and a pinch of cayenne will also melt away the cellulite.

For those dimpled areas, take caffeinated coffee, grind it into dust & mix with cheap hand lotion, rub this into your problem spots for 60 second a day, then shower it off & watch those troubled areas become smoother & firmer!

Take some anti-cellulite aromatherapy oil and mix it with fresh water and apply the oil on the hips and thighs for a few minutes. This will helps in reducing cellulite.

Do physical exercises that target mostly on your thighs, stomach, buttocks, and hip areas. You can learn such exercises which provide fat burning to these areas through Internet, yoga classes, magazines, and newspapers.
