We all look forward to our holiday break, whether it is laying on a beach in sunny Tenerife or donning skis and warm clothing on the slopes in Pamporovo, Bulgaria. The only problem with booking that all important holiday trip of a life time is the stress that goes along with it.

Tip one

Always book early, many people think they should wait till the last minute to get a great deal but this is not always the case. The price of flights and holiday packages go up and down on a daily basis depending on lots of different factors, including how many spaces are available.

There is actually a great many deals available on packages if you purchase them well in advance, giving you time to save your spending money and relax knowing everything is already in order ready for the big day.

Tip two

The night before you leave it is always important to double check you have everything you need, the best way to do this is write a list of important things and tick them off as you check them.

Another tip is to leave your documents in a prominent place where they will not be forgotten, like on top of the suitcase. It is surprising how many people forget their travel documents when they leave for their holiday.

Tip three

Getting to the airport early may not seem like the most enjoyable experience as you have to wait in that airport lounge for you flight to start boarding, but it is a must.

If you travel to the airport early then you can be sure that even if there is traffic on the way you will not be late, you can choose a seat with extra leg room when you book in and you can relax and a cup of coffee in the departure lounge.
