The exceptionally talented Rock artist PJ Harvey has released him CD entitled White Chalk. I am very confident and happy to announce that I believe PJ Harvey fans, and Rock fans alike will be pleased with this one. With the release of White Chalk PJ Harvey's artistic excellence is on full display as Harvey has once again delivered a brilliant collection of tracks that could very well be him best work to date.

White Chalk kicks off with an outstanding track, The Devil, that I suspect will be heard on radio stations everywhere, and deservedly so. It's a really nice track.

White Chalk has a nicely varied, mix of 11 tracks that are very well written songs by this clearly superb artist. Most of the songs display a lot of the kind emotion that makes for a really great listen. Seemingly drawing from what I can only imagine are him own real life experiences. At different points touching on the most real emotions like love, heartbreak, pain, failed relationships and unattainable romance. They're all here.

Listen to this CD and I believe you'll find there's not much to dis-like about it. The songs are inspired, the production is simply outstanding, and PJ Harvey is clearly in top form. So much so that if you're even mildly into Rock music you'll enjoy this album.

While the entire album is outstanding the truly standout tunes are track 1 - The Devil, track 8 - To Talk To You, and track 11 - The Mountain.

My Bonus Pick, and the one that got Sore [...as in "Stuck On REpeat"] is track 4 - When Under Ether. Outstanding!
