There are a lot of electrical devices in our houses. We use them without thinking how much energy do they use. When we see our big electricity bill we are surprised. Then we think how to reduce our bill. Here are some tips for that.

At first we have to limit our electricity usage. For example: we have to take care not to leave the lights on when we go out. Children often leave TV or computer on when they leave their rooms. Don't do that! When you are leaving your house make sure you turned off all the appliances and lights. Very often you leave your lights bulb on during night or when you are not at home. That is completely wrong. All these little things will reduce your electricity bill.

There is another thing you can do. You can change your incandescent bulbs with power-saving bulbs. This will also make your bill smaller.

Another advice: Try to use your electrical appliances in more practical way. Don't use your washing machine or dish washer when they are not full loaded of clothes or dishes. Your air-conditioner should be turned on at the minimum low temperature when cooling and minimum high temperature when heating. There are more examples. Just think of them. It is not very hard.

At the end, one fact should be emphasized. We must save electricity not only because our bills are too big but we have to think about saving energy for the future. Imagine your life without it!

The two most common renewable sources of energy are solar energy and wind energy and with an initial investment nothing additional is required to generate electricity. If you are thinking how can you generate electricity in your backyard so that you can reduce your electricity bill.
