If you have money problems, all you have to do is one or more of the following:

1. Spend less;
2. Refinance your debts;
3. Earn more;

Re: spending less, there are many ways of doing so. Look at your spending habits. Is there anything you can cut down on? Packed lunch instead of lunch in the City? Pints of beer down the pub on Friday nights? Clubs? Cable TV? Or simply switch suppliers. Gas, electricity, petrol can all be bought more cheaply if you shop around.

Re: refinancing your debts, there is no doubt that you have to do that. Companies do it, governments do it, so why not you? Remortgage, switch credit card supplier, consolidate your debts etc. and This is Money can help you to do so. There are many banks and financial institutions out there roaring for your business. And your existing creditors normally rely on your inertia through loyalty and laziness. They charge you more simply because you are not bothered to transfer your business elsewhere.

Re: earning more, it is possible too. Can you ask for more overtime at work? Can you take up a second job? With broadband, you don't have to leave your home to do a 2nd job in your evenings and weekends. There are plenty of opportunities to earn a second income online.
