If you are an avid fan of Samsung mobile phones then you must have been aware of the battle between the siblings, Samsung F480 Tocco and Samsung Omnia. Both the mobile phones are having more or less the same specifications, but they have certain features which make them different from each other. Both the phones are having multi-functional qualities and come at cheap rates.

Samsung F480 Tocco is a fashionable 5 mega pixel camera mobile phone. This mobile phone also comes under 3G HSDPA mobile phone category with high quality camera features and a built-in flash and autofocus and its large 2.8 inches screen makes a large viewing screen. A built-in 5 mega pixel camera with amazing autofocus and music player provide high-quality imaging functionalities and mesmerising sound features for the users to enjoy. This stylish Samsung mobile phone also supports Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and 3G HSDPA technologies to delight its users.

The Samsung F480 Tocco has five marvellous options for messaging, they are, SMS (Short Message Service) for text messages, EMS (Enhanced Messaging), MMS (Multimedia Messages) for illustrated messages and instant messaging, email and predictive text messages.

In the messaging options, the Samsung Omnia have almost the same specification like the Samsung F480 Tocco. It comes with the same SMS, MMS, Email, Instant messaging, Predictive text messaging options but it doesn't have the Enhanced messaging option.

The Samsung Omnia weighs only one hundred and twenty-seven grams and its dimensions are -112 x 56.9 x 12.5 mm. Whereas, the Samsung F480 Tocco weighs just ninety one grams and its dimensions are - 95.9 x 55 x 11.8 mm.

The Samsung F480 Tocco has entertainment options too, it has two variant type of gaming option, they are embedded games and another one is downloadable games (downloadable games, which means that a user can download games from any web or other source). The Samsung Omnia also has two types of gaming options, they are - Java games and downloadable games.

Samsung F480 supports five variant types of connectivity options, they are- 3G HSDPA, Bluetooth, USB Cable port, EDGE and GPRS. On the other hand, the Samsung Omnia supports one more connectivity option than the Samsung F480 Tocco, it has six variant connectivity options they are- 3G HSDPA, Bluetooth with A2DP, USB Cable port, GPRS, WLAN Wi-Fi and EDGE.

Samsung Omnia has network connectivity of Quad band technology, it has quad band technology of GSM 850, GSM 900, GSM 1800 and GSM 1900 and HSDPA.Whereas the Samsung F480 network connectivity operates on the Triband technology with frequencies of GSM 900, GSM 1800 and GSM 1900.

Both the mobile phone have the option for internet browsing, The Samsung F480 Tocco has internet options in the form of a WAP 2.0/xHTML and HTML enabled Browser. Whereas the Samsung Omnia has internet connectivity options in the form of a WAP 2.0/xHTML, HTML enabled browser and RSS Feeds for news updates.

With the Samsung Omnia, a user can talk up to 5.8 hours besides enjoying 500 hours of stand by time and with the Samsung F480 Tocco, a user can enjoy three hours of talk time and 250 hours of standby time. It has an option for Micro SD Memory card option. Whereas, the Samsung Omnia contains 128 mega bytes of RAM, 256 Mega bytes of ROM, 8 Giga bytes memory plus it supports 8 Giga bytes of Micro SD Memory card.

The Samsung Omnia has amazing clarity of sound features, it has a media player(MP3, WMA,OGG,AMR,AC and AAC+), FM Radio with RDS, Polyphonic ringtones, MP3 Ringtones and Voice memo. On the other hand, the Samsung F480 Tocco has a media player supporting the playback of MP3, AAC and AAC+ files and has FM Radio with RDS in addition to Polyphonic ringtones, MP3 Ringtones, vibration alert.

Both these phones are good in their own ways and a comparison seems too complicated.
