The car sits on 20-inch aluminum wheels and the Saab Aero 9-7x also gets P255/50R20 V-speed-rated tires that provide optimum balance and better handling. The interiors are designed with upholstered leather seats "Aero" embroidered and embossed floor mats.

Built with LS2 6.0 small-block V-8 with a cold air induction package that delivers 390 horsepower (295 kW) at 6,000 rpm and 395 lb.-ft of torque (542 Nm) at 4,000 rpm, the 9-7x Aero's LS2 6.0L is patterned from the V-8 engineering which delivers superior down-low torque for strong performance. With premium Saab engine parts under its hood, the distinct feature of the 9-7x is its engine's version which is a composite multiple to deliver balanced horsepower and torque. The maximum towing capacity of the 9-7X Aero is 6,000 lbs (2994kg).
