The Two Most Dangerous Words Known To Man

There are two words that have killed more drive, ambition, hopes and dreams than any other two words in the english language. These words are responsible for more despair, lack, limitation and shattered dreams than anything else that one can say.

I can't.

Whenever you use those two words you are killing your dream, your hope, your vision, and whatever you are referring to. By telling yourself, or someone else, that something can't be done, you are making that a fact.

The truth is that there is nothing that is impossible. There is nothing that cannot be done, accomplished, experienced, finished, started, realized, or enjoyed. All one must do is realize that it can in fact be done.

Let's think about this. Today, I can write this article and it can be viewed globally the second that I post it. There is no paper, pen, bottle to throw it in the ocean and hope that someone gets it someday. I simply hit 'post' and the whole world can read this. You can have it translated into your language by simply hitting the translate button on my page. You want French, Spanish, Arabic, English, etc. simply hit the flag and it's done.

If you want to visit with me and you are currently in London, all you need to do is buy a plane ticket and we can have dinner that same day. Of course flying is not a big deal, afterall, man has walked on the moon.

Want to talk to your friend? Simply grab your cell phone and dial them up. No wires, no cords, nothing but a small piece of plastic smaller than your hand and you can connect to anyone.

Do you think that Benjamin Franklin would have said that these things were impossible? Would Galileo think when he looked up at the moon that one day a man would walk on it? I wonder if Napoleon ever went on the attack with his army and thought that one day we could fight with remote control planes?

The truth is, many times what looks impossible is just an illusion. I'm sure that it was tough for Christopher Columbus to set sail and prove that the world was round. I'm sure many people figured he would die, and fall off the end of the earth. I think that history has proven his detractors wrong.

I can promise you that the person that walked on the moon, created the cell phone, made the internet, or the person that has made any advance for society would all tell you the same thing. They did it because they knew that they could.

If these people had told themselves that they 'can't' how would our world be different today? Would it be better, or worse?

What are you telling yourself that you can't do that is robbing the world of a tremendous advancement? Do us all a favor and stop! You can do it! You must do it! We're all waiting for your dream to be born! Get rid of your feelings of insecurity and doubt. And don't ever tell yourself that "I can't" ever again.
