Having the ability to access to the internet at just about any time and from any place has made working and playing easier than ever. In terms of accessibility and ease of use that is. It doesn't make our daily lives any less hectic and busy. In fact, all of this accessibility has done is make everybody's expectations that much higher. Nobody can get away from it and you can be reached at any time and in any place. There is nowhere to escape and the only way to do it is by turning everything off. Of course, you don't necessarily want to be out of the loop for a great deal of time, but it is nice to do once and a while.

Turn off the cell phone and turn off the laptop and any other portable device you may be carrying with you. There is a certain amount of excitement and adventure in being inaccessible. It can be a little bit scary at first, not being on the grid, not being in constant communication with everyone on the outside world, but it is necessary to do once in a while to regain your sanity.

The best thing to do is to turn off the cell phone, especially in church for God's sake, and bring along a laptop that will allow you access to the rest of the world at you convenience. It is important to have access, but if it is at you convenience, it will make for a much more tolerable personal life when you can simply ignore the outside world for a few moments of personal space.

What is really so important that you can't enjoy a quiet day at the beach or a relaxing day on the golf course that you need to answer the cell phone? There are times the cell phone should be turned off and it's a sad commentary that priests in churches are now forced to ask their congregation to turn off their cell phones before Mass. Chances are that the cell phone ring goes off at least once during a service anyway.

It's like these people are addicted to their devices and can't live without them. These things are great, when you use them for what they are made for. You just have to remember that they are tools, tools to make your life easier and if they start making your life more difficult than it might be time to reevaluate what you are using them for. Whenever you have to rely on something so heavily, then it may be getting out of hand.

It is really necessary to have parental software for the kid's computers. There are loads of excellent parental control software to choose from.
