Children as young as months are known to have the condition. Asthma triggers vary according to individuals. Some people get affected by asthma as a result of inhaling dust or animal hairs. To others, other infections such as common cold and flu can trigger the condition.

Exceedingly cold conditions can also trigger an attack of asthma. When one gets the attach, what you need to do is to take control of it. You should learn what triggers the condition in your different cases. Whatever the cause, try as much as you can to avoid it. It is always good to carry some asthma medications with you wherever you go. These include inhalers and tablets, whatever your doctor recommends for your case.

Asthma patients should also tell those close to them about their condition. This will enable them to get the best care possible in case of an attack. If you find these asthma triggers in your work place, it is always good to talk to those around you for necessary changes to be implemented accordingly.

Asthma is a condition that has no cure. But with the right living condition, it can be managed and you can lead a pretty normal life. The condition is different in different patients, what can trigger an attack in one person, may not necessarily be an asthma trigger in another person. The medications also vary according to different patients and the intensity of the condition. Always talk to a doctor before starting on any asthma medication.
