A team building competition can be used to spice up your corporate activity day. Some of the most common team building competition activities include racing and relay games as well as "thinking" games.

Some of the racing games that team building groups (employees) will participate in include quad racing, buggy racing, and blindfold driving days. All of these games have somewhat of a similar object-for participants to react quickly and safely.

However, for the most part these games are considered pure "fun". In fact, sometimes these games will seem so much fun that employees may forget that the team building day they are attending is mandatory.

One of the most recommended places for your employee group to participate in activity days is the driving center in Nottingham. However, there are plenty of other places in the UK where you can plan your corporate fun day as well.

Other team building competition games may require more thought. For instance, one of the more intense team building competition games is called "Mission X". The object of this game is to use clues to find the whereabouts of a kidnapped co-worker.

Tools that are used for this event include a map, compass, and a keen sense of direction-which hopefully at least one of your team members has! The activities that usually accompany a game such as Mission X include target shooting and the solving of clues.

The important of the Mission X activity is that it helps people in highly dangerous or highly challenging work roles to be prepared for anything. This is considered one of the highest forms of problem-solving exercises that a corporate team can be involved in-and it is a fun competition as well.

Another example of a fun competitive game that can be played by employee teams includes challenge games. One of the most involve thinking games that is sometimes played for team building competition event days is one that involves the assembly and launch of a rocket.

This particular activity requires following directions and co-operation. It is very crucial that the rocket be built right or it will not launch properly. Other games that are planned at a corporate activity day are not quite as demanding.

Clay pigeon is one of those types of games. However, it is also still very competitive. Clay pigeon shooting usually involves the act of shooting laser guns at flying clay targets. The person who shoots the most "pigeons" will win the most points.

By the way, if your corporate team chooses to participate in any one of the games mentioned safety is encouraged. Usually a short briefing will precede nearly any game that you play.

The purpose of fun competitive game activities is to help encourage employees to have fun with one another. A little healthy competition in the work place can actually foster greater productivity, because it acts as an incentive for employees to produce results.

In other words, team building competition events provide a greater incentive for each employee to try their best and to work hard. Without competition, less would most likely get done in the workplace.
