Anxiety attacks are quite common, especially in our time given the stress we experience. However, you should focus seriously on dealing with them rather than disregard the problem after the symptoms have past. It has been proven that people who are experiencing increased and uncontrollable worry are more likely to suffer from diseases of the cardiovascular system. So, you should definitely find the right way in which to deal with the attacks.
It is best if you repeat to yourself that you have the power to deal with any problem and with the particular one that caused the condition. You might also want to occupy your mind with other thoughts when you feel the symptoms of the anxiety attack. Trying to keep busy is also effective. You can try to do anything that involves some thinking and will divert your attention from your worries and fears. It is best not to take up an important work task as this might have the reverse effect and worsen the symptoms.
