The exceptionally talented Smooth Jazz group Special Efx released their CD entitled Butterfly. I am very confident and happy to announce that I believe Special Efx fans, and Smooth Jazz fans alike will be pleased with this one. With the release of Butterfly Special Efx's artistic excellence is on full display as they have once again delivered a brilliant collection of tracks that could very well be their best work to date.

Special Efx has been a heavy hitter in the Smooth Jazz genre for quite a while now and Butterfly is an excellent illustration as to why.

The nice thing about a CD like this is with this level of talent even if Smooth Jazz isn't your favorite genre you still can't help but appreciate the greatness of the artist.

I'm of the opinion that Butterfly is certainly Special Efx's best work in a few years. A totally enjoyable CD and an outstanding release. What I call must have music. I give it two thumbs up because it's a collection that even the casual Smooth Jazz fan can appreciate and enjoy.

While the entire CD is outstanding the truly standout tracks are Cruise Control [track 1], Everyone's A Star [track 5], and Much Too Soon [track 10].

My SmoothLee Bonus Pick, and the one that got Sore [...as in "Stuck On REpeat"] is track 8, Fantasia Blue. This is a great track!
