One of the most common questions that I'm asked, is how to assure that Judaica items online are in high quality. The question is very important, as more and more websites sell Judaica items, but as we all know, one of the most important factors in Judaica items is their Kashruth. In this article, I will give you 5 tips and advices on how to assure that the Judaica items you buy online are in high quality:

1. Buy your items from a large, known website. Don't buy from small, private websites that you do not know who is behind them. You may recognize large websites by using their own domain name, accepting wide range of credit cards, and having professional design.

2. Buy Judaica items that are made in Israel. Not only that by doing so, you will help strengthening the Israeli industry, but also Israeli made Judaica are more reliable in Kashruth matters. Most Juadica items nowadays are made in China, and many of them are not Kosher at all! So one of the most important things to do, is to look for the "Made in Israel" label on the product you intend to buy.

3. Returns and Refunds Policy are a Must! Make sure that the website you buy from has a returns and refunds policy. In this way, you make sure that products are returnable if you are not satisfied with them.

4. Not always the Cheapest is the best deal. As written in #2, some Judaica products are made in China and are much cheaper than those made in Israel, but their quality is much worse. So when it comes to Judaica, there are many more factors to check (What is the product made of? Where was it Manufactured? Is it Kosher?).

5. Notice what the Product is made of. Some websites don't even mention the materials that are used in manufacturing the products… You should know, that when it comes to Judaica, the best materials are sterling silver (which is very expensive), silver plated Pewter (which is less expensive and very common), or quality Porcelain. Never buy a product that you don't know what it is made of.
