Creating effective pay per click advertisements is easier said than done. However, if you follow a few simple tips, you can write ads that will attract clicks. Here are five tips you can use to make sure your ads get clicks. Be sure to persuade the searcher by letting them know you have what they are looking for. Include the name (or a description) of the product in your ad. Include it more than once if you can.The landing page must deliver the promise you made in the ad (if your ad described red apples, the page your click takes the user to should tell them about red apples).Narrow down your target market. You can't sell everything to everyone with your ad. If some people will want the blue version of your product and some people will want an extra-large, create separate ads for each.Use focused keywords for a targeted ad. For example, if you are selling a specific brand of ladies' high heel shoes, do not bid on a keyword like "shoes". In this case, "shoes" is too generic. Your ad could display for people looking for basketball shoes, flip flops, or work boots. That's not what you're selling. You are selling high heels, so pay for related keywords.Write your ads to persuade. Even though you have very little space to work with, your ad is sales writing. Persuade the searcher. Get their attention. Start to sell!Writing effective ads is a learned skill. Start out small and build on what works for you. The five tips listed above are a great start towards writing effective ads that get clicks. As you write ads, continue to educate yourself about effective ad writing.
