Volkswagen Contract Hire - Why VWs are Popular Lease Cars
Polo - VW's super mini is one of their most popular and enduring models, while it is famed for its hatchback model saloons and estates have occasionally found their way into the product line. Launched a year after the Golf in 1975, the Polo was the smallest car in Volkswagens portfolio until the more recent Lupo was released. While under the body it bears a striking resemblance to the Seat Ibiza and Skoda Fabia it is still a top lease car.
Golf - Volkswagen's small family car has proved a classic for over thirty years, It is widely considered to be one of the most stylish and attractive cars in its class while remaining in the budgets of most. Mechanically they are reliable and the supped up GTI & TDI models are some of the most fun cars to drive on the road. The perfect car lease.
Jetta - The saloon model was based on the same chassis as the Golf but in more of a family friendly form. Produced up until 2005 it proved hugely successful in America and is one of the most popular European cars in the United States. Later in the Jetta's life it became known as the Bora in Europe while keeping the Jetta name elsewhere.
Bora - The Bora is branding name used for the Mark Four Jetta and unlike the previous models features more rounded shape than previous models fitting in nicely with the other VWs available at the time. It featured the same grill and headlights as the ultra popular Golf.
Passat - The family car of the Volkswagen range. Like many of the other VW cars the Passat has been known by a variety of different names across different markets including bizarrely named Dasher, Santana & Quantum. The latest model was released in 2005 and though appearing quite different from its predecessor it has proved popular selling in record numbers. Deeply practical while still keeping the styling of some of its more existing siblings, the Passat is a great car leasing option.
Beetle - there has probably never been a more iconic car produced than the Beetle. Despite this when the Car was reintroduce in 1998 many feared it could not live up to the success of its forebear. However 20 Years after the end of US production of the original beetle the new model sold in records numbers and was hugely scarce for the first years of its production. Even though the new models are now quite common very few cars turn heads like a Beetle.
Sharan - VW first foray into the popular MPV market saw VW team up with Ford to create the car which when badged as a ford is known as the Galaxy.
Touran & Touareg while similar in name are actually quite different cars. The Touran is a mini MPV while the Touareg is a much large SUV or Sports Utility Vehicle. Another less common VW model is the Eos a cabriolet named after the Greek god of the dawn and wind.
With a wide variety of models designed to fit the needs of drives contract hire of a Volkswagen could be the best car you ever lease.
