If you're considering starting your own internet cafe here are a couple of things you should consider.

In order to generate more revenue you'll want to look into selling food. You actually have a couple of ways you could go if you wanted to sell food in your internet café. You could go through the process necessary in your area to get setup to sell prepared food, or alternatively you could simply run down vendors that will keep you supplied with packaged food items. Things like pastries, candy bars, and potato chips. You'll likely also want to sell bottled water and soda, so seek out vendors for these as well.

It's probably a good idea to get a longer term lease If you intend to setup a food section as part of your café. Also be sure to check with your local health department to learn about any food handling rules you may be required to be up on.

As for your computers there simply is no better place to purchase very high quality refurbished computers than online at eBay.

One of your big challenges is of course will be keeping your computers up and running. If you set your maintenance system in a way so that when a computer has a problem you have to remove it and reinstall windows and all the software you'll end up with computers being out of services days, and even weeks at a time.

A simpler way is to invest from the beginning in removable hard drives. You should note that in order for this system to work in your internet café or social gaming center you'll need all of your computers to be the same. The way it works is simple. You'll have a master copy of the hard drives. Then you use a cloning program like True Image and clone your master hard drive. This process takes less than 10 minutes and once it's done you have a new drive with all the settings. Your computers should also have a removable hard drive slot. You can purchase these online. A good system is to make 5 extra clones of hard drives. If one of your computers starts acting up, you simply take your key, open the hard drive slot, remove the old hard drive, and replace it with the new clone. That's it. Your problem computer is up and running in minutes instead of days. The nice thing about a maintenance system like this is once it's setup you can manage 10 computers just as easily as you can manage 100.

These are a few things to keep in mind and consider when thinking about starting your social gaming center or internet café.
