The Secret Of Giving

My friend used to tell me that there is no such thing as free lunch because nobody will buy you lunch is they don't want anything in return. I believed her at that time in that nobody will give you anything without any strings attached. To give is to release something in your possession while to receive is to openly accept what the other is offering from her possession. Strange as it may seem, I find that most people have a hard time giving openly.
We have different levels of consciousness we obtained as we grow and within each of these level there are certain truths that we hold true and as we obtain higher states of consciousness, we assume these truths and shed the illusions we previously held. There are also consistent sense of desire within the higher states of consciousness that inspire giving that's why when we give we experience moments of joy, gratitude, willingness, and peace because it has a higher vibration.
We sometimes forget how much we can give because we always associate giving with money and if we're short of it, we can't think of anything to give anymore. It is interesting to note that, we can give the gift of patience, understanding, and words of encouragement because this will plant a seed of confidence and uplift the spirit of our children, co-workers, and friends. We can give the gift of acceptance and unconditional love to our children and family for who they are and what they have become or perhaps a gift of interest in others because this will help us learn how interesting they are. But the greatest gift of all is time because there is no greater way of expressing our love than by devoting time to those we care most.
Take inventory of the things you don't want or need anymore and see whether somebody else can use it and you will see that these things will be returned to you a thousand times over because the universe will flow the energy back to you. Be consciously aware of your thoughts so that you will be able to control them. Give however you want to, because you will be sending positive vibrations out to the universe and it will in return give you back the things you want, to give you more reasons to be grateful for.
