1. Take a short walk outside and get some fresh air. 4. Drink a lot of fluids and eliminate salts and caffeine. These headache cures are pretty self-explanatory; you need to provide your body with the nutrients it needs while getting rid of substances that affect it negatively. Salts and caffeine may be a serious contributing factor to your headache, and getting rid of them will make you feel better. Fluids, especially water, is an extremely effective and fast acting headache cure.

5. Do you smoke? Do you spend a lot of time in a smoke-filled area? If you do, this may be the cause of your headache. Try to avoid smoke as much as possible, and if you are a smoker yourself, you already know that you should make a serious effort to stop. Avoiding smoke is an essential headache cure.
