Paper handling abilities come in the form of a single 250 sheet letter or legal sized tray, and a helpful 50 sheet multipurpose tray that is compatible with special media types such as custom letterhead and card stock.

While the output tray holds up to 150 sheets, no paper storage expansion options are available for the HP LaserJet P2035. The device is also void of any luxury hardware additions such as an automatic duplexor, though manual duplexing is made possible by included software. A single high speed USB 2.0 port is the only connectivity option left open on the base model, while the HP LaserJet P2035n also includes an Ethernet port.
