Office transformation specialist Morgan Lovell has reached the finals of a prestigious awards competition for its development of a sustainable office of the future.

The company has been shortlisted in the PFM Awards for the fit out of its own London headquarters - a challenging undertaking that centred on the creation of a green office interior within a multi-tenanted 1960s office block.

Located in Noel Street, Soho, the building was the type of development that would have previously been viewed as an environmental write-off - but Morgan Lovell's office design and build team worked together to achieve the highest BREEAM fit out environmental assessment score in the UK for a project of this type.

Morgan Lovell has been short listed in the PFM Awards' Business Innovation category for the pioneering office refurbishment.

Now in their 15th year, the awards are among the most sought after accolades in the facilities management sector.

David Henderson, managing director of Morgan Lovell, said: "We are very pleased to have reached the finals and that our work to create a sustainable office at Noel Street has been recognised in these prestigious awards."

The Awards Dinner will be held at The Brewery, London EC1, on November 4, 2008.
