How many times in your life have you committed yourself to something thinking it was a permanent decision, only to realize further along that you wished you had left yourself some measure of wiggle room that you could use to make some adjustments or changes with.

Remember your last marriage or relationship? If you are going to commit yourself to an extended satellite programming service contract and you don't plan on getting any high definition programming right now, have you given any consideration to the possibility that you just might change your mind somewhere down the road?

Fortunately this wont be a problem with almost all of the satellite programming service providers, because you can easily add on the limited number of channels that they have in high definition programming, if all you need is the limited amount that they have to offer you.

If you would like to add on the most high definition channels that you can, then you might regret that you didn't join the Dish Network family of TV viewers when you selected your programming service provider in the first place. Thirty-one channels of high definition programming is the reason you might regret your choice, because this is the amount of high definition channels that Dish Network has to for you if and when you decide to go high definition.

Have you even taken the time to see the difference between the standard and high definition picture? Did you know that dish Networks high definition programming comes with digitized surround sound, with Dolby noise reduction feature, for a crystal clear CD quality theater sound? But where can you see and hear this for yourself?

You can go to your local electronics retailer and see and hear the difference in high definition programming on their display models that they will have out showcasing the hottest new technology in TV today. The prices on high definition plasma screened TVs have fallen steadily over the last few years and they will only continue to fall.

Heaven forbid that your TV should go up in a puff of smoke and when you go out to price a new one, find a great sale on plasma screened high definitions and bring the new baby home, only to realize that you are locked into an extended service contract with a TV service provider other than Dish Network, the leader in high definition programming.

Just think how you will feel when you click through your dozen channels of high definition programming and you could have had nineteen more to select from if you had only gone to Dish Network in the first place.

If there is only a few months left in your service contract it shouldn't be that long a wait. You can always go over to a friend's house that has high definition from Dish Network if you really get desperate. Breaking up is hard to do and it's even harder when you are committed to a satellite TV service contract.
