The new iPhone from Apple Inc is a multimedia and Internet-enabled quad-band GSM EDGE-supported communication gadget with a multi-touch screen with virtual keyboard and buttons. The iPhone has features including a camera phone and a portable media player ("iPod"), along with text messaging and visual voicemail. Additional attractive features including Internet services like e-mail, web browsing, and local Wi-Fi connectivity. Launched in the U.S. on June 29, 2007, the iPhone has tasted great success with its attractive characteristic features.

The iPhone carries along with it attractive features including conferencing, call holding, call merging, and caller ID, and integration with other cellular network features and iPhone functions. Also there exists a provision of getting the playing song faded out when the user receives a call. Once the call is ended the music fades back in. iPhone does not support voice mailing. The iPhone includes a Visual Voicemail feature that helps the users to have a look on the list of current voicemail messages on-screen without needing to make a call into their voicemail.

Apple iPhone has introduced a ring tone on September 5, 2007, that allows the users to create custom ringtones from the purchased iTunes music for an additional fee, the same price of a song. The ringtones can range between 3 to 30 seconds in length of any part of a song, can include fading in and out, can pause from half a second to five seconds when looped, and never expire. The attractive feature of the iPhone is the release of a video explaining many of iPhone's features through a demonstration series.Apple iPhone presents text messages chronologically in a mailbox format similar to Mail that places all text from recipients together with replies. Text messages are displayed in speech bubbles under the name of each recipient. s name.
