You have just come up with your product and website. It can be an ebook, physical product, video course or all three. But you do not have traffic. So you start spreading news of your new product launch through articles. Because only when you let people know, then the chances of you getting traffic will be much higher. However your only problem is how exactly do you syndicate those articles to get more traffic?

There are several ways you can go about doing it. Below are 5 basic steps you may follow as your guide if you are totally new to article marketing and do not know what to do other than writing.

Quality Content

As with any other business, you need to know how and where to tap on your target market online. Such as finding their common problems and providing your product as solutions.

For instance if you are promoting an ebook about mind mapping and discover some people have difficulties remembering things, you can offer to give them a free report on how they can improve their memory skills.

Keep Your Paragraphs Short And To The Poit

Just because most article directories require you to come up with a 300 to 500 word article does not mean you should write long paragraphs or crammed everything together. A 5 or 6 line paragraphs should be maximum although I encourage you to put it at 4 to 5 lines.

Long paragraphs bore readers easily and they will not bother to read the rest of your article let alone clicking your link.

Never Promote Your Products Through Article Marketing

As I mentioned in my previous articles, you should never use article marketing as means of promoting your products.

Your goal is to give them a brief description of how your product can solve their problems before sending them to your link. It will be like showing the audience a trailer of a movie yet to be released without revealing everything.

Offline Article Posting

If you have money to spend, you can use the traditional means of syndicating your articles to newspapers and magazines. Though this will take a much long time in terms of your articles being published, you can easily tap on your local market on a wider scale.

Using RSS

RSS stands for Real Simple Syndication. What it basically means is distributing articles using an automatic process through article submitter software or sites.

This method not only enables you to reach out to a wider audience but also getting some important backlinks to your sites as well.

With the rise of internet especially social media and web 2.0, syndicating your articles is so much easier. You just have to decide on how you go about doing it. If done correctly, the results could have a tremendous impact on your online business in terms of profit growth and getting more traffic and customers.

Web 2.0

Web 2.0 such as Squidoo and Hubpages are excellent sites for you to post articles and direct traffic to your sites. Apart from normal article directories, they are also highly ranked by Google and other major search engines.

Now that you know how to syndicate your articles, you can start taking action to create quality articles.
